Riffobia is a band from Trikala Thessaly and they play Thrash metal.
The band started in early 2000 and its original members were Dimitris Kontogiannis (Guitars), Achilleas Theoktistou (Bass), Dimitris Makris (Drums) and Christos Delis (Vocals).
In 2005 they released their first demo on their own, did two live shows in their city and at that point there was a "break" for the band.
In 2011 the band reunited, started working on new material, to reach 2013 and their first official release entitled "Laws of devastation".
In 2014 the band released another demo with 2 songs, which are only available online.
In 2016 they released their second album entitled "Death from above".
Shortly afterwards there was a change in the drums with Michalis Zounarakis replacing Dimitris Makris and
in 2023 comes their third official release which is titled after the band's name (Riffobia).
Riffobia over the years have played in many concerts all over Greece together with great Greek and foreign bands.
It should be noted here that in 2023 the band also went abroad to Malta.
