There are so many ways to express your soul. Some do it with words, others with actions. There are some who write music, others who expose their aorta on paper stickers-emmeters or not. Some even put images into their thoughts , directing , making up scripts.
And there are many other ways to say what you want at any given time. We'll revisit this in the future.
But what happens when you express yourself in all of the above ways - and many more? Then you are also called Michael Puguna. Think of him as one of the lighthouses of modern Greek thought, his fingerprints are on many of the stones you will pick up on the paths you travel.
He first moved in the post punk/gothic scene (Flowers Of Romance 1981-1998, Nexus 1999-2005 and New Zero God 2006-present). Here we have the release of New Zero God " Circus of Tortured Melodies ". Thirteen stories in a soundscape that presents aspects of contemporary reality: the feeling in our mouths today, the evolution in politics, the daily "discounts" we make to survive, the dreams that don't come true...
The background is the modern environment with darkwave and post punk aesthetics. But the album doesn't fit into one genre of music. He states that he no longer recognizes boundaries in Art. In "Circus..." we are dealing with a distillation of pure punk/gothic rock by Flowers, with industrial elements by Nexus.
The message: dreams must come true... You will identify with the landscapes of the tracks that run in the grooves of the album, the waltzes of "Circus of Tortured Melodies" will haunt you even when you press off.
