"Music is enough for a life, but a life is not enough for music".

Sergei Rachmaninoff

I hope that the experiences I will have with music will be enough for a lifetime. Music entered my life at a young age either by listening to it or attending various concerts. I have always been drawn to the rhythm , intensity and melodies. I realized this consciously when I first sat in a drum set. My name is Kostas Dangalos and this is my musical journey.

For the first time I came in contact with drums at the age of 13, when I started lessons at the Modern Conservatory of Larissa. There I attended music theory lessons and at the same time I participated in different musical ensembles of the conservatory (choir, percussion ensembles, classical orchestra). At the same time I also participated in teenage bands with which we played covers of well-known rock and punk bands.

Later, as a student in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Macedonia, I continued my musical studies at the Matsigou Conservatory in Thessaloniki, where I completed my apprenticeship and obtained my certification in drums.During the same period I also obtained a special degree in Harmony from the Modern Conservatory of Larissa.

As a student I gained a lot of great experiences taking part in concerts in Greece and abroad (mainly as a percussionist).I also played in rock and metal bands (more specific genres : hardcore , punk , stoner) doing concerts in local stages and festivals.

After finishing my studies, I took my national exams again and passed my exams in the Department of Music Studies at the Ionian University of Corfu.

Today I am the drummer of I See Ruins a metalcore/ modern metal band from Thessaloniki, with whom we are currently recording our first EP. I also do session work as a drummer. One of them is Dean Washburn's project.
