"The sound of resignation: The Inner Cry of "Pass the Gun Around""

We travel back to 1983 where a vast blackness surrounds the sky,
our protagonist...wrote and recorded an album without remembering much according to him. But we are here today to focus on the song "Pass the Gun Around" a song written by Dick Wagner a man inside the life of our Protagonist, Alice Cooper. So through the album called "Dada" where it was released in 1983 this song is at the end of the album, the 9th in the series.

Alice Cooper at the time this album was written, was in a difficult situation where he was isolated from the band, living in a big house ruled by the veins of alcohol and mostly self-destruction. Alice Cooper in a mental confrontation with himself; with the world around him? Many times it's what we all ask ourselves...is it worth it after all? So living in an apathy an inner monologue of someone who has lost faith in themselves and others. A verse that sparks interest in the piece and can have many faces saying:

“Pass the gun around, give everyone a shot”

It leaves a sense of submission to the pain, a feeling that you know something is over, the hope for me is "pass the gun" to the next person.I think we've all been on this path that can have many names at the entrance and the important thing is not to give up and talk to someone around us.

As far as this particular piece is concerned there are many theories that are unanswered and the things that were going on in Couper's life at that time...
