Somewhere in Thessaloniki in 2019, tribute band rory gallagher was announced a "band of friends" where one would say you keep the legend alive. Arriving outside a well known tavern in Thessaloniki around 9am, the feeling was a bit strange as if he was alive again on stage. The guitarist from the band "band of friends" performing like rory was incredible. The guy started out in leather and ended up in a strappy t-shirt, his guitar was "dripping" with sweat where he was carried along by the sound and songs of Rory. a bass player who where playing with the audience and a drummer honestly put on a show that I will remember for the rest of my life. They did keep the legend alive. A guy behind us at one point was getting drunk on beer and melodies,where on the last song "shadow play" If I'm not mistaken... He started shaking me by the shoulders and said don't you see what's going on man... So we ended the night listening to Rory's melodies too bad he wasn't with us to see the technical guitar playing... Live every show like it's your last.
