I am Panos K. (Panos K.) born in 1983 and I come from Naoussa, Imathia. Some people may know me as Panos Baroutis because of the name I use in the social.The last 5 years I live in Athens.

I've been listening to Greek punk since I was a kid, which is not as simple as it sounds, as music in the countryside, in the late 90's and before the invasion of the internet in our lives, required a lot of searching, time and money. To manage to see a live was a big deal!!!But that's exactly what the magic was....I prefer mainly the Greek scene because I find it more authentic and raw.

I started sketching during the quarantine trying to keep my children creatively occupied. The quarantine ended, but I kept on sketching. It was my way of expressing myself... A very beautiful escape! My records playing and me drawing. At first they were scattered characters, which slowly came to life through various images. It was then that I started to dress my sketches with lyrics from my favourite songs. I wanted to capture my own perspective or even a different dimension of these songs.

This is how the idea for #PANKODROMIO was born. As a collector fanzine I realized that there wasn't something that was being released that combined and rendered the songs with a sketch and finally I set it up... Time will tell, but for sure it's made with a lot of love and care. Before #PANKODROMIO was released in November 2022, some tentative steps were made with participations in CAPSTRANA zine and an exhibition of the book space ¨Eklamψεις¨. A maiden appearance for #PANKODROMIO was its participation in the DIY Christmas Bazaar at Underathens.Seeing the first positive reactions and the warm response of the people, I got impetus and continued more actively.
