My name is Degleri Sophia, I was born in 1981 in Athens and I have been living in Larissa since I was 10 years old.
I am a Computer and Telecommunication Engineer with Msc in "Information and Communication Technologies in Education", an adult educator and I have been working in a Lifelong Learning Centre since 2012.
I have been working with arts and crafts (decoupage, scrapbooking, mix media, easy painting, clay, foamiran) since 2016.
After winning the 1st prize in painting in 1990 among students of various schools in Athens, I did not engage in painting for many years. 
The video of a Larissa painter about the technique of decouppage made me realize that my love for painting and construction was hidden somewhere in there and I was looking for a way to express it. An intense enthusiasm led me to countless late nights creating works and watching the behaviour of the materials. Workshops at a favorite hobby shop in our town had become a favorite habit of the week. New knowledge, ideas and an appetite to create in a very warm atmosphere created by people of different ages who shared the same interests. 
I love the textures and smells of the ingredients. The wood, the paper, the colours. 
Dealing with their processing offers me peace of mind and at the same time a feeling of absolute creativity.
