Queensrÿche's legendary frontman Geoff Tate returns to Greece in April 2026 with a special tour dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the historic album Operation: Mindcrime. On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Circus in Larissa, the iconic concept album will be performed in its entirety, from the first to the last track, for the last time live.
Released on May 3, 1988, Operation: Mindcrime has been described as "the heavy metal version of The Wall," with millions of sales and gold and platinum certifications. "I Don't Believe in Love" was nominated for a Grammy in 1990, while tracks such as "Eyes of a Stranger," "Suite Sister Mary," and "Revolution Calling" remain highlights in the history of the genre.
The idea and concept came from Tate himself, who wrote the script in a week. The album is internationally considered one of the 100 most important heavy metal albums of all time. In Larissa, in addition to the complete Operation: Mindcrime, the audience will have the opportunity to hear other anthems from Queensrÿche's career.
Hours: Doors: 8:30 p.m. Geoff Tate on stage: 9:30 p.m.
