Tracy Chapman-Tracy Chapman (1988)

One afternoon we were hanging out in the basement of a friend of mine.We decided to open some big boxes that were in the room.We slowly started to open them... eventually there were some old vinyls. There was Tracy Chapman's first album. The Tracy Chapman album we found in the basement was her first album, released in 1988. It was one of the most important albums of the 80's and quickly became a classic.

The album was titled "Tracy Chapman" and included several songs that became hits. One of the best known and loved songs from this album was "Fast Car," which became an anthem song for many.

The album showcased Tracy Chapman's singing and songwriting talent, as well as her sincere and moving voice. The songs on the album addressed themes such as love, social justice and human interaction, and often had profound lyrical messages.

It's amazing that we discovered this hidden treasure in the basement, and this album certainly offered us a chance to discover Tracy Chapman's music and art, making this afternoon even more memorable.
