VooeeTone is a unique musical venture, an unusual collaboration, as its members are special cases, bringing together old friendships, deeply personal stories, and sounds that combine various musical genres. Their debut album, entitled The Structure In Me, was released on October 3, 2025, digitally and on vinyl.
The band consists of four musicians who are already well known in the Greek alternative music scene, with a long list of achievements to their credit:
Akis Boyatzis: vocals & bass
Antonis Livieratos: keyboards
Yannis Tryferoulis: drums
Yannis Drenogiannis: guitar and main composer
According to the latter, the five tracks on the album were written in just 20 hours in the studio, without rehearsals, as a spontaneous recording of emotions and creativity.
Some of these songs were written a long time ago—some even 20 years ago.
VooeeTone's work is difficult to categorize into a single musical genre. Their influences include post-punk, indie, jazz, soul, trip-hop, and dream pop, among others.
The album The Structure In Me is more like a personal diary: sounds and words that capture journeys, memories, machines, images, and the artist's need to communicate something deep and intimate, something that is his own and makes it ours too.
The Structure In Me is not just a musical debut — it is the beginning of a narrative. The choice of vinyl shows that VooeeTone wants to create something timeless and tangible, not just digital.
The work on the album also shows that there is a desire for further development: in the future, there will likely be live performances and new songs.
